Our designers were inspired by Tulips. Tulip (lat. Tulipa) – species of plants in the family Liliaceae. The name originated from Persian toliban and was given to the flower for it’s likeness to the Eastern hat called turban. In Russia tulips were firstly brought in the year 1702 under the reign of Peter I. The collectors of tulips were knyaz Vyazemskiy, duchess Zubova, P.A. Demodov, duke Razumovskiy. At that time tulip onions cost a lot because up to the end of the XIX century they were brought from abroad and were raised only in the villas of rich people. Their production in Russia in Caucasus, Sukhumi were organized in the end of the XIX century.
